When Is The Native American College Fair?

The Native American College Fair will take place on October 21, 2024.

Student Only Sessions will be 9:00am - 11:00am, 11:30am - 1:30pm and 2:30pm - 4:30pm. A Public Session focused on families and adult students will be 5:00pm - 7:00pm.

Where Is The Native American College?

The Native American College Fair will be at the Minnesota History Center. The address is 345 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55102. Attendees will enter through the main entrance, not the field trip entrance.

Do I Need To Register?

Registration is required for Student Only Sessions. Attendance is limited to 500 students per session to keep event capacity at a level that allows students to have in-depth conversations with representatives. Schools, programs and youth groups attending the Student Only Sessions are required to complete a registration form. Group leaders must sign in their group in at the registration table when they arrive.

Is There A Registration Fee?

There is no registration fee for students or representatives.

What Is The 2024 Theme?

The theme this year is Healthcare, including all aspects of healthcare. Examples of healthcare are traditional medicine, doctors, dentists, nurses, medical technology, doulas, mental health, chemical dependency, counselors, pharmacists, emergency medical technicians, medical office & billing, public health and researchers.

College representatives will highlight their healthcare programs along with their Native American specific supports, and the speaker panels will include Native American healthcare professionals.

Will There Be Food?

Food can be purchased from food trucks during the lunch break, 1:30pm - 2:30pm. Student groups can bring lunches, but we will not have a space dedicated to storing lunches. Representatives can have food & drinks at their table.

What Will I Do At The Native American College Fair?

Representatives from 40 colleges & universities will speak to attendees about college life, courses, and admissions & financial aid requirements.

Financial Aid presentations, and speaker panels of Native American college students and professionals will take place throughout the day.
